Shipping Policy

We are currently offering Free Shipping within the United States for orders over $200 through UPS. The cost of shipping to Canada and Mexico is $25.00 USD. 

For orders under $200, we offer the following shipping options through UPS:

$12 Standard Shipping (3-5 Business Days)

$18 Express Shipping (2 Business Days)

Delivery is stated in business days, and orders must be placed before 10AM AEST to be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after the dispatch cut-off time will be processed on the following business day. 

Please note, Araminta James is not responsible for any delays caused by couriers. These may happen time to time and can occur in peak volume periods. However, these are the best delivery estimations available and are quite reliable and quick.

We currently only ship to the United States, Canada and Mexico from this website. For all other orders, please use our Australia/International website. Please be aware that international orders may be subject to additional import taxes and duties. In most cases, such duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination and these may vary from country to country.  

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. When you make a purchase from Araminta James, you are liable for any additional duties so please take this into account when placing your order.

RETURNS POLICY

We take great pride in the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your new purchase. If you change your mind for any reason we will happily accept a return under the following guidelines for a credit note. Please note that we only provide refunds on faulty items. Proof of purchase is required on all faulty Araminta James items to receive a refund. If you would like to exchange for an item, please place a new order.

We will only accept returns for items where:

  • The garment is in the original condition, unworn, unwashed with all the original tags attached.
  • The original Araminta James clear garment bag is returned undamaged with barcode intact.
  • The item is returned within 7 days (after it was received)
  • The items are not purchased on sale.

Please note that returns which do not follow our policy will not be processed. You will need to ensure that the return postage is traceable as Araminta James takes no responsibility for missing packages. The customer will need to cover the costs of shipping for returns unless the garment is faulty or an error on our behalf. 

Please email customersupport@aramintajames.com stating your order number and why you wish to return your item and we will respond with further information regarding the returns process.

Once you have posted the item, please email customersupport@aramintajames.com your tracking number and allow 5 business days for your return to be processed. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned items and if your return has been approved or rejected. If you are approved, then your credit will be processed, in the case of a refund (for faulty items) a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (gift cards are non refundable), within 5 business days. Discount codes have no cash value and if a return is made, your account will be credited only in the amount that you paid – total amount at checkout less the value of the discount code. Once your return has been received and processed you will be emailed a virtual gift voucher. The value of your voucher is the amount paid after any discounts.

International Orders, Duties and Taxes

Please be aware that all international orders may be subject to additional import taxes and duties. In most cases, such duties must be paid by the customer once the parcel reaches its destination. When you make a purchase from Araminta James, you are liable for any additional duties and taxes charges, so please take this into account when placing your order.

These charges are determined by your local customs authority and include:

  • The sales tax applied by your area for purchases from the United States
  • Duties charged for processing by your country

Unfortunately, we are not able to estimate the amount of duties and taxes your package will incur as these are directly imposed by your local customs authority vary from country to country. Araminta James, being an Australian company, has no authority or influence over these charges which are payable to the receiver. Payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs. For more information, please contact your local customs office.

Please note that many countries have specific import restrictions on certain products or materials and it is the responsibility of customers to check local customs regulations before placing an order for shipping outside the United States. Araminta James does not offer any assistance with this process and will not be responsible for return shipping costs nor duty reimbursement in the case of international returns.
